It is with great pride and enthusiasm that the Rogue Artists Ensemble announces the opening of their latest show: Angus Oblong's The Victorian Hotel. Set in a sprawling and spooky old hotel, we follow the Lady Claudia Frothington and Winston Frothington III on an unforgettable weekend getaway, while the resident ghosts and ghouls do their best to provide a raucous and spine-tingling welcome. Written and conceived by celebrated and eccentric illustrator Angus Oblong (Adult Swim's The Oblongs), and brought gleefully to life by The Rogues; It is a mix of live actors, puppets and digital media in the Rogues' signature "hyper-theatrical" style
The show will run from October 20th through December 2nd, with shows in the evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm as well as a Matinee show on Saturday at 2:00pm. Ticket prices are $25 for regular admission with Student and Senior discounted tickets at $20 and a Pay-what-you-can show on November 25th at 2:00pm and a free preview on October 19th. All performances will be at the Powerhouse Theatre located at 3,116 2nd St. Santa Monica, CA. 90,405. Please note that there will be no performances on November 23rd and 24th.
